The exam requirement will vary by age and physical status. Each exam requires a minimum of a medical history, a tuberculosis (TB) test, and a physical exam. The I-693 USCIS forms will be provided for your convenience.
Also, the USCIS medical exam has several time and procedural requirements that must be met. This includes constraints on the immunizations and testing as well as the exam itself. Most individuals over 2 years of age will need a blood test. Our staff will assist you in understanding all USCIS medical exam requirements to make sure your needs are met.
Your laboratory tests will be available in approximately one week. Please note that a positive result of the TB blood test requires a chest X-ray to determine whether TB is present.
When your entire test and physical exam is completed, you will receive a sealed envelope containing all the appropriate forms filled out and signed. In most cases, your forms will be ready for pick up in 7 to 10 days. You must return to the clinic to pick them up in person. Note: The sealed envelope must be presented with the original seal to the immigration officer in order to be considered valid.
